If the blast did anything, it made me more determined than ever to celebrate this glorious city, to tell its story to the world, to immortalize it in any way I knew how. And my art was one of those ways.

Following the Beirut port explosions, I focused on peace and security as the main themes of my artworks. Art can be used as an entry point for peace building.

The Beirut port explosions pushed me to improve my art, and made me realize that art can outlive a human being. My studio was completely destroyed but my artworks are still alive, especially through the interaction of my new work between silhouettes and the outside, like as if through my sculpture I can define a new world.

For me art is defined as freedom, that's how I am able to express my inner thoughts, it's about making people "feel free".

Beirut Jam Sessions is a platform that promotes music via concerts and sessions. We've been doing this since 2012 and, despite all the challenges we've faced down the years, we've kept going.

Art brings hope, joy, happiness and meaning to life. Life without art is colorless; life without art is mere darkness. Art provides a space for healing, a space for possibilities, a space for hope.

My projects were mostly about the veil which reaches cultural, religious and political ideas. At the same time I enjoy painting, and I'm inspired by the big eyes and the cute culture.

Painting, sculpture, ceramics, movies, storytelling, writing or other visual arts are the perfect tools to talk about a crucial event.

No one is coming to help, only your work will save you. So look around, there is inspiration in every corner, create work that shines, light up the tunnel, lead the way out of it.

Music is my life, it gives me power and faith to face all difficulties and challenges everyday by allowing me to be always happy.
