Elise El Rassi

Biography:

Elise El Rassi is an Interior Architect & Iconographer certified from the Faculty of Fine Arts (USEK-Lebanon) in 2000. She has worked for 20 years in Interior architecture in several local and offshores engineering companies. She has prioritized arts, Iconography, pyrography and paint in the last years. She is currently a student in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural heritage at USEK in partnership with Urbino University (Italy). She is collaborating with NGOs to save artworks found in Beirut museums and damaged by the port blast of August 2020.

Statement:

My mission is to save the Lebanese Cultural Heritage, including paintings and other artworks, to show it to the world. I am aiming at acquiring an Italian expertise through studies and a future Master’s degree.
