Nadine Mneimneh

Biography:
Born and bred in Paris, Nadine Mneimneh completed two bachelor’s degrees, in business administration and fashion design, and earned experience in retail management, marketing, styling and pattern-making before starting her label in 2010 in Beirut. She has also worked as a consultant for start-ups and established brands, focusing in particular on creative direction, product development and execution. In 2014, she was a founding faculty member of the newly – opened fashion school at the Lebanese American University, in collaboration with the London School of Fashion and Elie Saab.

Statement:

Nadine Mneimneh is a Lebanese fashion designer. As an advocate of slow fashion, she designs limited-edition capsule collections with a socially responsible ethos. Nadine’s work takes inspiration from simple shapes and traditional garments found in Middle Eastern, Asian and Western cultures. She crafts timeless pieces which blend charm and simplicity.
Sustainable practices are central to Nadine’s brand and mission. Her methods involve upcycling and traditional artisanship, with materials sourced primarily from local suppliers. Each piece is made by hand in her Beirut atelier. Since 2010, her work has been showcased across Europe and the Middle East, and featured in international publications.
